About This Course

We have been inundated and bombarded with countless news stories sharing illness, loss, isolation, anguish, hopelessness, and fear through the coronavirus pandemic. It is, of course, important to acknowledge these—and the very real and profound crisis on our hands, as well as the collective anxiety and social isolation it is creating. However, it is just as essential to look at the wisdom, insight, strength, and truly meaningful growth that can—and has already—come as a result of individuals, communities, and humanity as a whole working together.

This webinar is designed for those who want to increase their stress management and positive neuroplasticity skills. This training will provide you with a whole host of tools for your toolbox. These tools can be used for yourself and with those teens and adults you work with. It is important to combat social isolation and the collective stress that is occurring right now. You will learn ways to decrease stress and negative coping behaviors while increasing positive coping skills. Learn how to engage in positive neuroplasticity through “taking in the good” of life. Doing these will help shed the feelings of isolation, worry, and “stuckness.” Learn to identify and manage your stress waves and drop anchor to get below the craziness of day-to-day life right now. Learn the four levels of self-care. You can bring self-care into your life from as little as 1-minute a day. Self-care can enhance your daily functioning, sense of control and well-being.
