Lou Lasprugato, MFT
Lou Lasprugato, MFT, is a Peer-Reviewed Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Trainer with the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. Lou has been facilitating trainings on ACT, and a variety of other topics, including Mindfulness, Nutritional Psychology, and Meaning & Purpose, since 2010. His didactic presentations and experiential workshops have a reputation of being informative, inspiring, heartfelt, and practical in application. Lou is also the Behavioral Health Manager for the Sacramento, California, Intensive Outpatient Program within the Department of Mental Health & Wellness at Kaiser Permanente. In 2012, he began facilitating an ACT Skills group series, which has become a training ground for colleagues and a model for other ACT groups within the region. He earned his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA following a career as a professional musician. Lou maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Davis, CA where he lives with his wife and two sons.
