Through Burnout

In this 3-part video series, you'll learn all about:

  • What neurodivergent burnout is and how it can block progress in therapy
  • Sensory processing differences and how they contribute to stress and burnout
  • Sensory self-stimulation or "stimming" and its importance for self-regulation

Once you understand neurodivergent burnout and how to identify it, you'll be well equipped to help clients get unstuck in therapy and build a more engaged, fulfilling life.

A Personal Note
from Jennifer Kemp

The number of people being diagnosed with Autism and ADHD has exploded in recent years.

As a result, more and more clients are presenting to therapy with questions about neurodivergence and its connection to their mental health.

Often, these clients are among the most complex we see-yet there is very little available in the way of neurodiversity-affirming training to help clinicians understand and support them.

In this course, I combine my lived experiences as a late-diagnosed Autistic person and ADHDer with my clinical expertise to give you the insights and skills you need to help your neurodivergent clients thrive.

The essential knowledge you gain will help you identify neurodivergent clients, tailor therapy to their needs and communication styles, build strong therapeutic relationships, and explore their neurodivergence in a supportive, affirming way.

You'll be able to help clients understand themselves better, regulate how they feel, manage their daily stressors, treat themselves with greater compassion, and advocate for their needs.

Much of the content is geared directly toward neurodivergent people, so you'll get to hear how I explain these concepts to my clients and learn the specific strategies I use to help them work toward lasting well-being.

Along the way, you'll gain a wealth of practical tips and tools that will help you adapt your practice to be more effective for Autistic people and ADHDers.

Join me and learn how to help your clients take pride in their neurodivergent identity, embrace their strengths and differences, and build a life that works best for them.
