With a focus on values, mindfulness, and committed action, ACT can significantly enrich the effectiveness of group treatment by encouraging participants to be fully open, aware, and engaged. But applying ACT in a group setting can also bring challenges. This workshop offers strategies and group experiential activities, and will provide you with the basics to get your group supercharged and ready to roll!
- Describe the application of the six core processes of ACT to the group therapy setting.
- Demonstrate how to manage common challenges in running ACT groups.
This training is worth 2 CE credit hours if attended live.
