With a focus on values, mindfulness, and committed action, ACT can significantly enrich the effectiveness of group treatment by encouraging participants to be fully open, aware, and engaged. But applying ACT in a group setting can also bring challenges. This workshop offers strategies and group experiential activities, and will provide you with the basics to get your group supercharged and ready to roll!

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe the application of the six core processes of ACT to the group therapy setting.
  2. Demonstrate how to manage common challenges in running ACT groups.

This training is worth 2 CE credit hours if attended live. While we can only provide CE to those who are present  i.e. logged in  for live presentation(s), all Praxis webinars are recorded for later viewing. Registrants may then access these recordings at any time for up to six months from the conclusion of the training to which they pertain.
