Rehfeldt will explore the profound benefits of using ACT by behavior analysts working with these populations, as well as give an overview of the connection between ACT and RFT. The benefits of acceptance and commitment training will come to life through exercises representing the six processes of the ACT hexaflex and recent research on ACT for these populations.

Learning Objectives

  2. List strategies for implementing components of ACT with adolescents and adults with autism spectrum and other developmental disorders, and their caregivers.
