Ruth Goldfinger Golomb, LCPC, is a senior clinician, supervisor and co-director of training at the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington where she has specialized in the treatment of a variety of clinical disorders in children and adults with an emphasis on BFRBs for over 40 years. She has written and presented on BFRB topics numerous times to professional audiences and sufferers. Ms. Golomb is coauthor of several books, including The Hair Pulling ‘Habit’ and You, A Parent Guide to Hair Pulling Disorder, Overcoming Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors, Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) Treatment for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors, and Helping Your Child with Sensory Regulation. She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors.
