Tamar is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist and author of ACT FOR TREATING CHILDREN (New Harbinger, May 1, 2022) and THE ACT WORKBOOK FOR KIDS (New Harbinger, January 2, 2024). Tamar has 20 years’ experience working as a school psychologist, and 24 years’ experience working as a psychologist in private practice. She has extensive experience providing counselling to children, adolescents, parents and adults, conducting assessments, and providing supervision, consultation and training to psychologists, school counsellors and teachers. She has undergone extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and is an ACT trainer. Tamar is a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor and approved supervisor of the Australian Psychological Society College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists.
