David Burns, MD
David D. Burns, MD, is an adjunct clinical professor emeritus in the Stanford University department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences. His best-selling book, Feeling Good, has sold more than five million copies worldwide, and is the book most frequently recommended for depressed individuals by American and Canadian health professionals.

He has won several awards for his research and teaching, including the prestigious 2018-2019 Irma Bland Award for teaching from the American Psychiatric Association.
