Jon Hershfield, MFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Maryland, Virginia, and California. He is the director of the OCD and Anxiety Center of Greater Baltimore, in Hunt Valley, MD where he specializes in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder and related disorders using cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. He is the author of Overcoming Harm OCD: Mindfulness and CBT Tools for Coping with Unwanted Violent Thoughts and When a Family Member Has OCD: Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Skills to Help Families Affected by Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and coauthor of The Mindfulness Workbook for OCD: A Guide to Overcoming Obsessions and Compulsions Using Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Everyday Mindfulness for OCD: Tips, Tricks, and Skills for Living Joyfully.
