Shawn Whooley, PhD

Shawn Whooley, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Towson, Maryland and in the Outpatient Trauma Recovery Program at the VA Maryland Health Care System in Baltimore. Dr. Whooley teaches ACT and contextual behavioral science as adjunct faculty for the graduate psychology program at Loyola University Maryland, where she earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2004. Dr. Whooley completed internship and post-doctoral training at the Baltimore VA under the mentorship of Sonja Batten, Ph.D. She served as the founding President of MPAGS, the graduate student arm of the Maryland Psychological Association, and as a Task Force member and student liaison to the Association’s Board.
